In 1956, the Clayton family began its journey when founder Jim Clayton sold his first home and launched the dream of making homeownership attainable for everyone across America. With an overwhelming demand for affordable living in the Midwest, Clayton Wakarusa opened in 2013. To keep up with the demand, we expanded adding a second home building facility next door to the first one in 2017. We are passionate about building innovative, energy efficient homes that will last for generations!
